It offers every actor involved in its area of activity a place to meet, exchange views and plan common actions.
Apart from representing and defending the professional, material and ethical interests of its members, AFCOME primarily strives to:
- Gather, enhance and develop information covering all aspects of its
members' activities: markets, the various actors'
policies, technologies, agronomy, environment, etc.;
- Mediate with the authorities, trade organizations and raw materials
and equipment suppliers;
- Carry out any necessary training to increase the know-how of its members.
These objectives are achieved via work committees:
- Economics, Techniques and quality, Agronomy.
- and the staging of biennial International Meetings
that bring together fertiliser producers, traders, distributors, etc.
